This association is mainly to uplift the knowledge and
technology of radiographers and technicians to establish to bridge between the
Radiologists and the Radiographers, Also to establish uniformity in Radiography
performance

To get adequate recognision for the Radiographers and
technologies as a group with in and outside the country

To see the safe measure of radiation protections are
followed and adhered to in all Institutions.

To look after the welfare of the Radiographers and
Technicians working in different Institutions.

To help in job placement.

Conduct of an examination which would be the uniformly
accepted, Nationally and Internationally.This examination to be conducted jointly by
the association in co-operation with IR&IA karnataka Chapter.

Primary and secondary radiographic examination to be
conducted by the association and IR&IA for the unqualified Radiographer with in the
period of three years from the date of registration.
